The story of Ashwatthama

Ashwatthama is fierce immortal warrior whose final night attack turned defeat into a legacy of curse and remorse. Son of Drona and Kripi; nephew of Kripacharya.

Born into poverty, he grew up with the Kuru princes and carried deep pride in his father's status.

He fought fiercely for the Kauravas and unleashed the Narayanastra after Drona's death.

After Duryodhana fell, he attacked the sleeping Pandava camp and killed Draupadi's sons.

Krishna cursed him to wander for ages with an incurable wound after he aimed a celestial weapon at the unborn Parikshit.
