Kaikeyi is warrior queen whose fear and manipulated ambition triggered Rama's exile. Wife of Dasharatha; mother of Bharata.

She once saved Dasharatha in battle, earning two unclaimed boons and his deep affection.

Initially delighted by Rama's coronation, she was persuaded by Manthara that Bharata would be endangered.

She demanded Bharata's throne and Rama's exile, believing she was securing her son's future.

Bharata rejected the gain, Dasharatha died, and Kaikeyi lived with remorse until Rama returned.
