The story of Kripacharya

Kripacharya is kuru preceptor known for martial skill, continuity and survival through the great war. Son of Sharadvan; twin brother of Kripi; uncle of Ashwatthama.

Found and raised by King Shantanu, Kripa became a teacher in the Kuru court.

He trained the princes and remained tied to Hastinapura through each generation.

He fought for the Kauravas, survived the war and joined Ashwatthama's night raid.

After the war he was appointed teacher of Parikshit and is traditionally counted among the immortals.
