Kumbhakarna is ravana's colossal brother, famous for sleep, appetite and tragic loyalty. Son of Vishrava and Kaikesi; brother of Ravana and Vibhishana.
A boon distorted by divine intervention condemned him to sleep for long periods and wake briefly.
When awakened during the siege, he openly told Ravana that abducting Sita was wrong.
Despite that judgment, he fought out of loyalty to his brother and devastated Rama's forces.
Rama finally killed him after a monumental battle.
