When the asuras seized the nectar after the ocean churning, Vishnu assumed the captivating form of Mohini.
She persuaded both sides to let her distribute it, then ensured the gods received the nectar.
Rahu detected the trick and drank, but was exposed and divided before the nectar passed fully through him.
