Narada

Narada is traveling sage, musician and provocateur who moves stories toward revelation. Mind-born son of Brahma in many traditions.

He travels freely among heavens, earth and underworld, carrying news and spiritual teaching.

His questions or warnings often trigger events, sometimes creating apparent trouble that exposes hidden pride or destiny.

A foremost devotee of Vishnu, he teaches bhakti and appears in the lives of Dhruva, Prahlada, Valmiki and many others.

Though called a mischief-maker in popular retellings, his interventions usually serve a larger spiritual awakening.
