Rukmini is princess who chose Krishna and became his chief queen in Dvaraka. Daughter of Bhishmaka; wife of Krishna; mother of Pradyumna.
Though promised by her brother to Shishupala, she loved Krishna and sent him a secret appeal.
Krishna carried her away from the wedding assembly and defeated the pursuing kings.
