Biography

The story of Sahadeva

Sahadeva is youngest Pandava, known for intelligence, astrology, swordsmanship and disciplined service. Son of Madri and the Ashvin twin Dasra; twin brother of Nakula; husband of Draupadi.

Raised by Kunti with his brothers, he became known for sharp judgment and knowledge of omens.

He joined the conquests for Yudhishthira's Rajasuya and advised the family through exile.

In Virata's court he served as cowherd Tantipala; in the war he fulfilled his vow by killing Shakuni.

He later fell during the final journey, with pride in his wisdom identified as his weakness.
