About the series
After ruling Hastinapura, the Pandavas renounce their kingdom and begin the Mahaprasthana—the great final departure toward the Himalayas. Draupadi and the brothers fall one by one while Yudhishthira continues with a faithful dog beside him.
The journey is not simply an ending to the Mahabharata. It asks what remains when power, reputation and earthly attachments are left behind, and why dharma is tested even at the threshold of heaven.
